Having her roots in interior architecture and design, she emphasizes the interplay of her works & colors with the interior in her pieces.

The designer works with clay in her current ‘becomings’ series consisting of sculptures such as the ‘swirls’, ‚curlicues‘ or ‚drops‘. Her latest work connects object and light design in the mesmerizing sculpture ‚beam of joy‘.

These handcrafted objects follow an intuitive flow where the versatile and often bold shapes develop by giving them the freedom to unfold, lean on, melt, or deliquesce at edges within the process of creating them. Owning up to her background, Sina believes that spaces always have a story of their own.

She uses the interior as the stage and canvas for her objects to breathe life and soul into those very spaces. Each object creates a vibrant, colorful, and lively addition to any domestic realm. Sina is playing with light and shadow, movement, and lack thereof to define the object’s story.

I found that I could say things with colors and shapes that I couldn’t say in any other way.
